eDirectory Real-Time Login Event Processing

The iBoss integrates with native eDirectory libraries to provide automatic and transparent eDirectory authentication. As soon as a user logs into their workstation, eDirectory communicates directly with the iBoss notifying the iBoss that the user login has occurred. The iBoss then applies the appropriate filtering group based on the user's eDirectory group membership.

iBoss integration with eDirectory reduces load on the directory server and provides real-time integration even for multi-thousand node networks.

Multiple Simultaneous eDirectory Server Monitoring

The iBoss allows you to register multiple eDirectory servers and will monitor logon events from each of the servers simultaneously. This allows the iBoss to integrate even into the most complex Novell eDirectory environments.
